Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our production team as a Shrink Wrap Machine Feeder. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in a manufacturing environment, requiring no prior experience. As a vital part of our factory floor operations, you will be responsible for ensuring a steady flow of products into our shrink wrap machines, contributing to the efficient packaging and delivery of our high-quality goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Load products efficiently and accurately onto the shrink wrap machine conveyor belt.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure continuous feeding and identify any issues.
- Assist with basic machine adjustments under supervision, as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Inspect products for quality before and after the shrink-wrapping process.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production flow and potential problems.
- Perform other general factory floor duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (not required, but considered an asset).
