Job Description

Join Electronic Arts as a Playtester with a focus on our corporate site operations. This full-time position in Colorado Springs offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the quality and playability of upcoming titles across various platforms. You will be an integral part of our development process, providing critical feedback to enhance user experience, identify bugs, and ensure our games meet the high standards expected by millions of players worldwide. This role is based entirely at our corporate site, fostering collaboration and direct interaction with development teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test plans and procedures to identify bugs, glitches, and usability issues.
  • Provide detailed, objective, and constructive written and verbal feedback on game features, mechanics, and overall player experience.
  • Reproduce identified bugs consistently and document steps to reproduce, severity, and impact.
  • Collaborate closely with game designers, developers, and quality assurance teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of game industry trends and competitive titles.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols regarding unreleased game content.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in identifying and articulating gameplay issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience with various gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
  • Relevant certifications or coursework in game design or quality assurance.
