Job Description
As an Entry-Level Account Security Analyst at Netflix, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our member accounts and ensuring a secure streaming experience. This 100% remote position is perfect for a motivated individual eager to start a career in cybersecurity, offering the opportunity to learn from industry experts and contribute to critical security operations. You will be responsible for monitoring, investigating, and responding to security incidents related to account compromise, fraud, and other malicious activities, utilizing cutting-edge tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential account compromise incidents.
- Analyze unusual account activity and identify patterns of fraud or abuse.
- Respond to security incidents promptly, following established protocols to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and engineering teams to refine security measures.
- Document incident details, actions taken, and contribute to post-incident reviews.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with security threats and best practices.
- Provide exceptional support and guidance to members on account security best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and common attack vectors (e.g., phishing, credential stuffing).
- Proficiency with common office software and web-based tools.

- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

- Previous experience in a customer support or help desk role.
