Job Description
Lowe’s Home Improvement in Louisville is seeking enthusiastic and responsible 13-year-old teens to join our team as a Yard Worker for clean-up and trash duty. This is a fantastic opportunity for young individuals to gain their first work experience, learn about responsibility, and contribute to keeping our store grounds pristine and welcoming. We are looking for motivated individuals eager to learn and make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and dispose of litter and debris from parking lots, sidewalks, and landscape areas.
- Empty outdoor trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
- Assist with light landscaping tasks, such as weeding, raking leaves, or watering plants.
- Maintain cleanliness around the building exterior, including sweeping entrances and common areas.
- Report any larger maintenance needs or safety hazards to a supervisor.
- Follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic physical ability to lift up to 10 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Punctuality and good time management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience helping with yard work or household chores.
