Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated 14-year-old teens to join our team as Seasonal Farm Hands. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience in local agriculture, learn about sustainable farming, and contribute to your community. As a Farm Hand, you will assist with various farm tasks, working outdoors in a dynamic and supportive environment. This seasonal position is perfect for students looking for summer work or part-time experience during school breaks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with planting, weeding, and harvesting various crops.
- Helping with irrigation setup and maintenance.
- Sorting and packing produce for market.
- Cleaning and maintaining farm equipment and work areas.
- Performing general farm labor as directed by supervisors.
- Adhering to all safety guidelines and farm protocols.
- Working cooperatively with other team members.
Required Skills
- Must be 14 years of age or older (with valid work permit, if required by state law).
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 20 lbs and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Reliable transportation to the farm location.
Preferred Qualifications
- No prior farm experience required; we will provide all necessary training.
