Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional 17-year-old to join our esteemed San Francisco Financial District office as a part-time Receptionist. This unique opportunity is designed for a young individual ready to embark on their professional journey, offering hands-on experience in a sophisticated legal environment. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring the efficient flow of daily office operations. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and contribute to a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and direct clients and visitors upon their arrival.
- Manage incoming calls with professionalism, directing them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages, and prepare outgoing correspondence.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and common spaces.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing meeting room bookings.
- Provide support to various departments with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
- Uphold the firm's standards of confidentiality and professional conduct.
