Job Description
Join the Home Instead team as an Assistant Personal Care professional in Wesley Chapel, Florida! We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide essential personal care services to our cherished senior clients in their homes. You will play a vital role in supporting our clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with light exercise.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying living areas.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to the care manager.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients.
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as required.
Required Skills

- Ability to follow care plans accurately.
- Basic understanding of senior care needs.
- Physical ability to assist with client mobility and transfers.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in personal care, home health, or a related field (even if informal).
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) or home health aide (HHA) program.
- Familiarity with Pasco County, Florida area.
