Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Beverage Delivery Driver to join our team in Biloxi, MS. This role involves the efficient and safe delivery of Coca-Cola products to various retail establishments and other customers within the local suburbs. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and stocking products, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a physically demanding role requiring excellent organizational skills and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company delivery vehicle to transport beverage products to designated locations.
- Load and unload product from the delivery vehicle using manual and mechanical methods.
- Deliver products to customers, including stocking shelves, coolers, and display areas as required.
- Verify accuracy of deliveries against invoices and obtain necessary signatures.
- Collect payments from customers when necessary and reconcile daily transactions.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and vehicle inspection reports.
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues and building positive relationships.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Class D (regular) driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-activity environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in route delivery or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with local Biloxi and surrounding suburban routes.
- Experience operating hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
