Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and highly reliable Bilingual Nanny with a strong focus on Spanish and English language proficiency for a private family in Anaheim, CA. This full-time position involves providing attentive and engaging care for children, fostering their development, and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about childcare, possess excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English, and be able to integrate educational and recreational activities into daily routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-time, attentive care for children, focusing on their physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote bilingualism (Spanish/English).
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
- Assist with homework and school projects, providing support and guidance.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the children.
- Manage children's schedules, including appointments, playdates, and extracurricular activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, activities, and any concerns.
- Perform light household duties related to childcare, such as tidying play areas and children's rooms.
Required Skills
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- Minimum of 2 years of professional childcare or nanny experience.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging and educational activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience working with multiple children of varying ages.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or needs.
- Knowledge of child development stages and age-appropriate activities.
