Job Description
Are you an early bird with a passion for fitness and a desire to help others achieve their goals? David Lloyd Clubs in Warrington is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Bootcamp Assistant to support our dynamic fitness bootcamps. This unique role offers the advantage of early morning starts, allowing you to finish your day early and enjoy your afternoons freely. You’ll be instrumental in setting up equipment, assisting trainers, motivating participants, and ensuring a smooth and energetic bootcamp experience for all members.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up bootcamp equipment before each session, ensuring all items are clean, safe, and ready for use.
- Greet and register participants, providing a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere.
- Assist lead trainers during sessions, demonstrating exercises, offering modifications, and providing individual encouragement.
- Monitor participants' form and engagement, offering support and ensuring safety.
- Manage session logistics, including timing, water breaks, and participant flow.
- Help with post-session breakdown, cleaning, and storage of equipment.
- Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm to motivate participants.
- Act as a first point of contact for participant questions and feedback during bootcamps.
Required Skills
- Excellent punctuality and reliability for early morning shifts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for health, fitness, and helping others.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Physical stamina to assist with equipment setup and participate in dynamic activities.
- Proactive attitude and ability to anticipate needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fitness or customer service role.
- Basic knowledge of exercise techniques and safety.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Relevant fitness qualifications (e.g., Level 2 Gym Instructor).
