Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team in Dallas. This role is crucial for driving new business growth, with a specific focus on understanding and positioning our unique value proposition in competitive markets, particularly against established players like Concentrix. You will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and supporting the sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the BPO, IT Services, or Consulting landscape and have a keen eye for market trends and competitive strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities, with a specific focus on areas where Accenture can offer a superior alternative to competitors like Concentrix.
  • Generate new leads through cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and networking.
  • Qualify leads and assess client needs, ensuring alignment with Accenture's service offerings and strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Collaborate closely with senior Business Development Managers and solution architects to develop tailored proposals and presentations.
  • Support the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Track and report on sales activities and results using CRM tools.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to effectively position Accenture's solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, articulating Accenture's value proposition effectively.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles, preferably within IT Services, Consulting, or BPO sectors.
  • Proven ability to conduct market research and identify new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for results and exceeding targets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with competitive analysis and strategy development, particularly in relation to major BPO or IT services providers.
  • Master's degree in Business or a related field.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, cloud services, or cybersecurity solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
