Job Description
Blacklane is seeking an exceptional Celebrity Chauffeur with a sharp focus on Red Carpet and Media events to join our elite team in Overland Park, Kansas. This pivotal role involves providing discreet, professional, and luxurious transportation for high-profile clients, including celebrities, public figures, and media personalities, often for high-stakes public appearances and events. The ideal candidate possesses impeccable driving skills, an intimate knowledge of the Kansas City metropolitan area, and an unwavering commitment to privacy, safety, and client satisfaction. You must be prepared for irregular hours, possess outstanding interpersonal skills, and maintain a polished professional demeanor at all times. Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, punctual, and comfortable transportation for celebrity clients to red carpet events, media engagements, airport transfers, and private appointments.
- Maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality regarding client schedules, conversations, and personal information.
- Ensure vehicles are impeccably clean, fueled, and well-maintained before and after each assignment, adhering to Blacklane's luxury standards.
- Plan optimal routes, considering traffic, road closures, and client preferences, utilizing advanced navigation systems.
- Anticipate client needs and provide proactive assistance, such as opening doors, handling luggage, and managing temperature controls.
- Coordinate effectively with security teams, publicists, and personal assistants to ensure seamless transitions at venues.
- Adapt quickly to last-minute schedule changes and unforeseen circumstances with grace and professionalism.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional chauffeur experience, ideally with high-profile clients.
- Flawless driving record with no accidents or violations.
- Extensive knowledge of the Kansas City metropolitan area, including common venues, airports, and alternative routes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
- Unwavering commitment to client privacy and confidentiality.
- Ability to work flexible and irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license with appropriate endorsements for professional driving (e.g., commercial driver's license if required for vehicle type).
