Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Chauffeur I to join our esteemed team in Midtown Manhattan. As a Chauffeur I, you will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and comfortable transportation for our guests and executives, ensuring their experience reflects the high standards of The Ritz-Carlton. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate luxury vehicles for the transport of guests, executives, and VIPs to various destinations within New York City and surrounding areas.
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness and operational readiness of assigned vehicles, including regular inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies, ensuring the well-being of passengers at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers with luggage, opening doors, and ensuring a comfortable and pleasant journey.
- Plan efficient routes using navigation systems to minimize travel time and avoid potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and service logs.
- Demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality regarding all guest interactions and information.
- Respond promptly to dispatch requests and maintain clear communication with management and guests.
Required Skills
- Valid New York State Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of New York City roads, traffic patterns, and navigation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a polite and courteous demeanor.
- Punctual, reliable, and highly organized with strong time management abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to dress code standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
