Job Description
Are you seeking an exciting seasonal opportunity that combines your love for the outdoors with your hands-on skills? TruGreen is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Christmas Light Installers in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is a temporary, outdoor role perfect for those who enjoy working with their hands, have a keen eye for detail, and are committed to creating stunning holiday displays. You’ll be part of a team transforming residential and commercial properties into festive winter wonderlands, ensuring every installation is safe, beautiful, and up to TruGreen’s high standards. No direct experience installing lights? No problem! We provide comprehensive training to ensure you’re equipped for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely install and remove Christmas lights and decorations on various residential and commercial properties.
- Work efficiently and meticulously to meet installation deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
- Operate ladders, lifts, and hand tools in a safe and responsible manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with lighting components as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction with every project.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines for working at heights and with electrical equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and equipment.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (cold, rain, sun).
- Comfortable working at heights on ladders and potentially lifts.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the St. Petersburg area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow precise installation instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping, construction, general labor, or outdoor seasonal work.
- Familiarity with basic electrical safety principles.
- Experience operating power tools or working with electrical systems.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
