Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Concert Promoter Assistant to join our team in New Port Richey, FL. This role is crucial for supporting our concert promotion efforts, with a particular emphasis on venue coordination and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for live music and events, eager to contribute to the success of our shows from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the research and identification of potential venues for concerts and events within the region.
- Coordinate logistical details with venues, including load-in/out schedules, stage requirements, and technical specifications.
- Support the marketing team by preparing promotional materials, drafting social media content, and coordinating local advertising efforts.
- Maintain accurate databases of artists, venues, and contacts.
- Process artist and vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Handle general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing files.
- Assist with on-site event setup and breakdown as needed, providing support to the production team.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, audience demographics, and competitive landscapes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (booking, marketing, operations) to ensure seamless event execution.
Required Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and social media platforms.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by event schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- Previous internship or work experience in the music, entertainment, or event promotion industry.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello).
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- A genuine passion for live music and a deep understanding of various music genres.
