Job Description
Join our team as a CU Teller – Community Focused Banking, where you’ll be the friendly face of Frost Bank, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships within the Austin community. You will handle daily banking transactions, assist customers with inquiries, and contribute to a positive and welcoming branch atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashing checks.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their financial goals and providing personalized assistance.
- Handle cash and maintain an accurate cash drawer, adhering to all security procedures and policies.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding account balances, statements, and other banking services.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Educate customers on the use of digital banking tools and services.
- Participate in branch meetings and training sessions to stay informed on product knowledge and compliance.
- Comply with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Basic math proficiency and attention to detail
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic computer literacy
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in banking or retail
