As a Dealership Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the flow and presentation of our vehicle inventory. Your responsibilities will include moving vehicles, preparing them for delivery, and ensuring our lot and showroom are organized and presentable at all times. Key Responsibilities
- Move vehicles between dealership locations, service bays, and display areas efficiently and safely.
- Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors thoroughly, including washing, waxing, and vacuuming, to maintain showroom standards.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness and order of the vehicle lot, showroom, and service drives.
- Fuel vehicles as needed for customer delivery and test drives, ensuring they are ready for immediate use.
- Assist with general dealership upkeep and maintenance tasks, contributing to a tidy and professional environment.
- Retrieve customer vehicles from the service department and parking areas promptly and courteously.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support overall dealership operations.
Required Skills
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles with confidence.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift in various weather conditions.
- Exceptional attention to detail for vehicle presentation and cleanliness.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for maintaining operational efficiency.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a dealership or automotive setting is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
