Job Description

This entry-level position is designed to teach you the essential skills and knowledge needed to become a compassionate and effective caregiver, all while working on the job. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided training programs and mentorship sessions.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) under direct supervision, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders as instructed.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to a supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the healthcare field.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous volunteer experience in a caregiving or healthcare setting.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
