Job Description

This entry-level position is designed to teach you the essential skills and knowledge needed to become a compassionate and effective caregiver, all while working on the job. Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in all provided training programs and mentorship sessions.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) under direct supervision, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders as instructed.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
  • Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to a supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in the healthcare field.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous volunteer experience in a caregiving or healthcare setting.
  • Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
