Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Excel Inventory Analyst to join our dynamic Supply Chain team in Wesley Chapel, FL. This stable role is critical in optimizing our inventory levels and ensuring the efficient flow of goods across our extensive network. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced Excel skills to analyze inventory data, identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend strategies to improve supply chain performance and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex Excel models for inventory tracking, analysis, and forecasting.
- Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, excess stock, and potential shortages.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and store operations teams to optimize inventory levels and order quantities.
- Generate regular reports on inventory performance, stock turns, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Support the development and implementation of inventory management best practices.
- Conduct root cause analysis for inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in demand planning and forecasting activities to ensure product availability and minimize obsolescence.
- Provide actionable insights to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, data modeling).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
