Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Executive Sedan Specialist with a dedicated focus on ensuring an exceptionally quiet and smooth ride experience. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the meticulous inspection, diagnosis, and fine-tuning of luxury sedans, primarily Lexus models, to eliminate any potential sources of noise, vibration, or harshness (NVH). Your expertise will directly contribute to upholding the premium driving experience our clients expect. This position requires a deep understanding of automotive systems, an acute ear for subtle anomalies, and a commitment to precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive multi-point inspections with a specific emphasis on identifying and resolving NVH issues in luxury sedans.
  • Perform advanced diagnostic tests using specialized equipment to pinpoint root causes of ride quality concerns.
  • Execute precise adjustments, repairs, and component replacements to optimize vehicle suspension, steering, braking, and drivetrain systems for maximum comfort.
  • Utilize sound and vibration analysis tools to objectively measure and improve cabin quietness.
  • Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to communicate complex technical information effectively to clients.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all inspections, diagnostics, and repairs performed.
  • Stay current with the latest Lexus service bulletins, recall information, and technological advancements related to ride comfort and NVH.
  • Conduct post-repair road tests to verify the successful resolution of issues and ensure client satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive repair, with significant time spent on luxury vehicles.
  • Proven expertise in diagnosing and resolving Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) issues.
  • Strong understanding of automotive suspension, steering, braking, and drivetrain systems.
  • Proficiency with advanced diagnostic tools and equipment (e.g., scan tools, oscilloscopes, vibration analyzers).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ASE Master Automobile Technician Certification.
  • Lexus or Toyota factory training and certifications.
  • Experience with acoustic and vibration measurement techniques.
  • A passion for luxury automobiles and an understanding of premium client expectations.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Automotive Technology or a related field.
