Job Description
Join PepsiCo as an Entry-Level Factory Production Worker in Hesperia, CA! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to start a career in manufacturing with a leading global company. You will be an integral part of our production team, contributing to the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. This role requires commitment to rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support our 24/7 operations. We are looking for motivated individuals eager to learn, contribute to a safe working environment, and grow within our organization. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor production lines, troubleshoot minor issues, and report larger problems to supervisors.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Package and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all sanitation and hygiene policies.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Load and unload materials and products, potentially using manual or powered equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and measuring.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (even if informal).
- Experience with basic hand tools or operating machinery.
