Job Description

Are you a master of visual discovery and a connoisseur of emerging trends? BPCM is seeking a highly intuitive and analytical Fashion Trend Scout with a specific focus on Pinterest to join our boutique agency team. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying nascent fashion, beauty, and lifestyle trends that resonate with our diverse portfolio of luxury clients. Your primary mission will be to dive deep into Pinterest’s vast ecosystem, unearthing patterns, aesthetics, and inspirations before they hit the mainstream. You’ll translate these insights into actionable strategies, helping our clients stay ahead of the curve and connect authentically with their audiences. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, a passion for fashion, and a strong understanding of digital trend forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct extensive daily research on Pinterest to identify emerging fashion, beauty, and lifestyle trends, aesthetics, and influential creators.
  • Analyze data and visual cues to predict future trends relevant to luxury and contemporary markets.
  • Develop comprehensive trend reports, mood boards, and presentations for internal teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with PR, marketing, and creative teams to integrate trend insights into campaign development and strategy.
  • Monitor competitor activities and broader cultural shifts impacting consumer preferences.
  • Maintain an organized library of trend data and visual resources.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for client pitches and creative initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in using Pinterest for trend scouting and research.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current and historical fashion, beauty, and lifestyle trends.
  • Exceptional visual literacy and ability to identify patterns and aesthetics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in creating compelling presentations and mood boards (e.g., Google Slides, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite basics).
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Visual Arts, or a related field.
