Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Hydroponic Pickers to join our state-of-the-art indoor farm in Croydon. In this clean, modern environment, you will be responsible for the precise harvesting and preparation of a variety of leafy greens and herbs. This role is crucial to ensuring the highest quality produce reaches our customers fresh and ready. Key Responsibilities
- Carefully harvest a wide range of hydroponically grown crops according to strict quality standards and daily targets.
- Inspect plants for quality, health, and signs of disease or pests, reporting any issues to team leads.
- Assist with the packaging and preparation of harvested produce for distribution, ensuring accuracy and freshness.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of grow rooms, work areas, and equipment.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment and product integrity.
- Monitor environmental conditions within grow zones and report any deviations.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere, supporting colleagues as needed.
