Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Fast Food Associates to join our McDonald’s team in Cicero, Illinois. This part-time position guarantees a minimum of 15 hours per week, offering stable work in a dynamic environment. As a Fast Food Associate, you will be a vital part of our crew, responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing food, and ensuring a clean and welcoming restaurant for all our guests. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and drink orders
- Process cash and credit card payments accurately using the POS system
- Prepare food items according to McDonald's standards and recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms
- Restock inventory and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and a positive work environment
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and promptly
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-food or customer service role
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Current Illinois Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain one)
