Job Description

McDonald’s in Davenport, Iowa, is seeking a dedicated Fast Food Porter to join our team. This essential role is critical to maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall pleasant atmosphere of our restaurant, ensuring a positive experience for both our customers and crew members. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, restrooms, kitchen floors, and exterior premises.
- Empty trash receptacles regularly and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, high chairs, and other dining area fixtures.
- Mop and sweep floors throughout the restaurant, including back-of-house areas.
- Restock supplies in restrooms and dining areas (e.g., paper towels, soap, napkins).
- Clean and maintain equipment, including beverage stations and condiment areas.
- Assist with the cleaning of spills and immediate maintenance needs as they arise.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company cleaning procedures.
- Support the overall team effort by assisting with other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices.
