Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently handle passenger baggage, including loading and unloading from carts and vehicles.
- Assist passengers with luggage inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Operate baggage handling equipment responsibly and in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a secure environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the airport terminal.
- Collaborate effectively with other airport staff and airline personnel to ensure timely and smooth operations.
- Be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items (up to 70 lbs) consistently throughout the shift.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage (up to 70 lbs) repeatedly and safely.
- Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced airport environment.
- High level of reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow them strictly.
- Valid driver's license (preferred, and may be required for operating certain airport vehicles).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a similar physically demanding role.
- Familiarity with airport operations or baggage handling systems.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
