Job Description
Are you passionate about the latest trends, social media, and what’s capturing the attention of 15-year-olds today? Urban Outfitters is looking for an enthusiastic and intuitive Online Brand Scout to identify emerging trends, content, and influencers relevant to our target demographic. This unique part-time role allows you to leverage your finger-on-the-pulse knowledge to provide valuable insights that will help shape our future product lines and marketing strategies. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to contribute to a major fashion retailer from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively monitor popular social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat) for emerging trends, aesthetics, and viral content relevant to 15-year-old teens.
- Identify and track up-and-coming micro-influencers and creators within the teen demographic.
- Analyze online conversations and sentiment to understand teen preferences, desires, and pain points.
- Prepare concise weekly reports detailing key findings, trend forecasts, and potential brand opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to share insights and recommendations.
- Stay informed about competitive activities and general shifts in youth culture and retail.
- Provide feedback on current Urban Outfitters products and marketing campaigns from a teen perspective.
