Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle to deliver and pick up packages on an assigned route.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety standards, including daily vehicle inspections.
- Provide exceptional customer service, professionally interacting with customers during deliveries and pickups.
- Accurately complete necessary paperwork and maintain electronic delivery records using handheld devices.
- Sort and load packages onto the vehicle according to established procedures.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they arrive at their destination in perfect condition.
Required Skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possession of a valid US driver's license for a minimum of 3 years.
- Clean driving record, free of major violations for the past 36 months.
- Ability to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 75 lbs without assistance and up to 150 lbs with appropriate assistance.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or delivery role.
- Familiarity with the Pasco County area and local routes.
