Job Description
Are you passionate about language and cutting-edge artificial intelligence? Google is seeking dedicated and highly detail-oriented Bilingual AI Training Translators to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you will contribute directly to the development and refinement of Google’s AI language models by providing high-quality translations, linguistic validation, and data annotation across various domains. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere within Canada. Your expertise will directly impact the accuracy, naturalness, and cultural relevance of AI-driven communication, making technology more accessible and intelligent for users worldwide. We are looking for individuals proficient in English and at least one other language, eager to make a significant impact in the field of AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate and localize a diverse range of text and speech data to improve AI model understanding and generation.
- Annotate data for linguistic features, sentiment, and intent, ensuring high accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
- Perform quality assurance on AI-generated content, identifying and correcting errors in grammar, syntax, and cultural context.
- Provide linguistic feedback and insights to AI engineers and researchers to enhance model performance.
- Collaborate with a global team of linguists and data scientists to develop and refine AI training methodologies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols related to proprietary information.
Required Skills
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (written and spoken).
- Exceptional linguistic intuition and a deep understanding of grammatical nuances, cultural contexts, and idiomatic expressions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex guidelines consistently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with office software and ability to learn new annotation tools quickly.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field.
- Prior experience in translation, localization, or linguistic data annotation.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or natural language processing concepts.
