Job Description
Are you passionate about gaming and have a keen eye for detail? Scopely is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Game Testers to join our casual weekly roster. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to the quality and success of our mobile game titles. As a Game Tester, you will be on the front lines, playing unreleased games, identifying bugs, and providing critical feedback to our development teams. We’re looking for individuals who can start immediately and are ready to dive into the exciting world of game development.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and identify bugs, glitches, and other issues in pre-release game builds.
- Document defects clearly and concisely using our bug tracking software.
- Provide detailed feedback on gameplay, user experience, and overall game quality.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and other QA team members.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure the stability of new game features.
- Adhere to testing protocols and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Maintain a high level of engagement and focus during testing sessions.
- Communicate testing progress and issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for video games, especially mobile gaming.
- Exceptional attention to detail and observational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency with mobile devices (iOS and Android).
- Basic understanding of bug reporting and testing methodologies.
- Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new tools and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a QA or game testing role.
- Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Asana).
