Job Description

The Container Store is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Garage Clutter Transformer – Organization Specialist to join our dedicated team. This hands-on role involves working directly with clients to assess their garage organization needs, design customized storage solutions, and physically implement these plans. You will be instrumental in transforming cluttered garages into highly efficient and aesthetically pleasing spaces, empowering clients to reclaim their valuable storage areas. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site consultations with clients to understand their garage organization challenges and goals.
- Develop tailored organization plans and product recommendations using The Container Store's extensive range of solutions.
- Present and explain proposed solutions to clients, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Physically sort, declutter, and organize items within garage spaces according to the agreed-upon plan.
- Install shelving, cabinetry, and other storage systems as required.
- Label and categorize items to ensure long-term maintainability of the organized space.
- Provide guidance and tips to clients on maintaining their newly organized garage.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project timelines and resources efficiently.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in hands-on organizing or decluttering, preferably in a home setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and creativity in designing functional spaces.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs, and work in various physical positions.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools for assembly and installation.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Reliable transportation to client sites within the Longmont and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a professional organizer or in a related home services field.
- Knowledge of various organizational products and systems, particularly those offered by The Container Store.
- Aesthetic sense and an eye for design in functional spaces.
- Familiarity with inventory management or categorization techniques.
