Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Hotel Porter to join our dedicated team at Apex City of Glasgow Hotel. This is an immediate start, full-time position offering weekly pay. As a Hotel Porter, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, playing a crucial role in ensuring their stay is comfortable, enjoyable, and seamless from arrival to departure. Your duties will involve assisting guests with luggage, providing information, maintaining the lobby area, and supporting various hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, both check-in and check-out.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel facilities and services.
  • Assist with the delivery of guest mail, newspapers, and other items as requested.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and other public areas.
  • Provide accurate information about local attractions, transport, and dining options.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms or event spaces as required.
  • Support other hotel departments (e.g., front desk, housekeeping) as needed.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly and courteously.
  • Ensure the security of guest belongings and hotel property.
