Job Description
Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for a flexible, part-time role that allows you to work from the comfort of your home? UK HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Part-time Records Clerk to support our weekend operations. This 100% home-based position is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and accessibility of our vital patient records, ensuring smooth data flow and compliance with privacy regulations. You will be an integral part of our team, working independently to manage digital and potentially scanned physical records, contributing to the seamless functioning of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, classify, and file patient records and other relevant documents in electronic systems.
- Perform accurate data entry to update and maintain patient record databases.
- Retrieve and disseminate information efficiently to authorized personnel, ensuring strict confidentiality.
- Conduct regular audits of records for accuracy and completeness, correcting discrepancies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and internal policies.
- Assist with record archiving and destruction procedures in accordance with established guidelines.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems or similar database management.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
