Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with a strong business focus to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for supporting various projects across Google’s operations throughout all UK regions. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth execution of business initiatives, working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and successful outcomes. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in planning, executing, and closing projects with a business focus.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, and information flow to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively address issues.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, team members, and external partners.
- Organize and attend project meetings, documenting key decisions and action items.
- Track project budgets and expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial guidelines.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project management best practices and tools.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a project coordination or administrative role within a business environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting effectively at all levels.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar) or similar productivity suites.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to task management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote team setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation).
- Experience working in the technology industry or a large, complex organization.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management software.
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
