Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Google Remote Tech Associate to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your home office. As a Remote Tech Associate, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and assistance to internal Google teams and potentially external partners. You will receive all necessary equipment to perform your duties effectively. This role is ideal for individuals with a foundational understanding of technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for supporting users in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of Google-provided equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently and effectively.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions in a knowledge base system.
  • Collaborate with other support teams to escalate and resolve complex problems.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous communication.
  • Adhere to Google's security and data privacy policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Manage inventory of provided equipment and coordinate returns/replacements as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Proficiency with common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Chrome OS).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

  • A dedicated, quiet home workspace with reliable internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role (even informal).
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace applications (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Meet).
