Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Google Twitter (X) Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously tracking, analyzing, and reporting on trends across Google and the X platform (formerly Twitter). Your insights will directly inform our digital strategy, content creation, and client recommendations, ensuring we stay ahead of emerging conversations and market shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a passion for social media analytics, and a proactive approach to identifying actionable trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Google search trends, news, and related discussions to identify emerging topics and shifts in public interest relevant to our clients and industry.
- Utilize advanced search techniques and analytics tools to track real-time conversations, hashtags, and sentiment on the X platform (formerly Twitter).
- Develop comprehensive trend reports, including data visualization and key insights, to inform internal teams and client strategies.
- Proactively identify potential opportunities or risks based on trend analysis, providing timely alerts and recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and client advisory teams to integrate trend insights into various projects and campaigns.
- Stay updated on algorithm changes, new features, and best practices across Google and the X platform to optimize tracking methodologies.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of our trend tracking methodologies and tools.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Trends, and other Google-related data tools.
- Expertise in X (Twitter) analytics platforms and social listening tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Meltwater).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting reports and collaborating with teams.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze emerging social media and search trends.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience working in a fast-paced agency or consulting environment.
- Familiarity with other social media platforms and their respective analytics.
- Certification in Google Analytics or similar social media analytics tools.
