Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and enthusiastic Junior Video Editor to join our content creation team in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will be instrumental in producing engaging short-form video content, primarily for platforms like YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging short-form content (e.g., YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikToks) with quick turnaround times.
- Implement motion graphics, text overlays, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
- Select and edit music, sound effects, and voice-overs to complement visual content.
- Collaborate with content creators, producers, and marketing specialists to understand project requirements and creative vision.
- Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines, legal requirements, and platform-specific best practices.
- Manage and organize video assets, maintaining an efficient workflow and archive.
- Stay updated on current video trends, editing techniques, and social media platform changes to continuously improve content quality and performance.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro).
- Basic understanding of motion graphics and visual effects principles.
- A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating ability to create engaging short-form video content.
- Excellent sense of rhythm, timing, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
