Job Description
Join the BerryWorld team for an exciting and rewarding vacation work opportunity as Harvest Staff! This temporary role is perfect for international students looking to gain practical experience in the agricultural sector during their break. You will be an integral part of our farm operations, contributing to the crucial process of harvesting fresh berries. This is a physically active role that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick and package various types of soft fruits (e.g., strawberries, raspberries, blueberries) according to quality standards.
- Inspect fruit for ripeness and quality, ensuring only the best produce is harvested.
- Work efficiently and accurately to meet daily picking targets.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area in the fields or packing sheds.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Required Skills
