Job Description
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals for a High School Logistics Job focused on Warehouse & Shipping operations. This entry-level position is perfect for those looking to start their career in logistics and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. You will be an integral part of our team, helping to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse processes, from receiving to dispatch. This is an on-site role at our Land O’ Lakes facility, offering comprehensive training and opportunities for growth within FedEx Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with receiving, sorting, and storing incoming shipments and materials.
- Accurately pick and pack orders for outbound shipping.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling, weighing, and scanning.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
