Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Hotel Porters to join our team across various Hilton properties in the UK, including a new opening in Rotherham. As a Hotel Porter, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting guests with luggage, providing information about hotel services and local attractions, and ensuring the lobby and entrance areas are always immaculate. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to handle physical tasks efficiently while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, storage, and retrieval.
- Provide accurate and helpful information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist guests with transportation arrangements and provide directions as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and other public areas.
- Run errands for guests and staff when requested, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly, escalating complex situations to management.
- Coordinate with front desk and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.
- Assist with package and mail delivery for guests.
- Support event setup and breakdown when required.
