Job Description
Williams Companies is seeking a dedicated and organized Houston Energy Hub Admin with a Corporate Support focus to join our team in Tulsa, OK. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of corporate activities related to our significant Houston Energy Hub operations. This position requires an individual with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be instrumental in supporting various departments, including operations, finance, and human resources, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of tasks that directly impact our strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to senior leaders and teams associated with the Houston Energy Hub initiatives.
- Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements, including itineraries and expense reports.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval of information.
- Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and procurement activities related to hub operations.
- Coordinate internal and external events, workshops, and team-building activities.
- Act as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders, handling inquiries and directing them to appropriate personnel.
- Facilitate onboarding logistics for new team members within the corporate support functions for the hub.
- Undertake special projects and assignments as required to support corporate objectives.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience in a corporate setting, preferably within the energy or related industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High degree of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience with Concur (travel and expense management system) or similar software.
- Familiarity with project management tools.
- Prior experience supporting remote or multi-location teams.
