Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and organized Inventory Hand to join our dynamic team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and supporting warehouse operations. This position requires strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if necessary).
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily targets.
- Report any damaged or missing inventory immediately.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory tracking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
- Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Familiarity with inventory management software.
