Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Compliance Aide to join our Environmental team in Downtown Houston. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance within a large corporate setting. The Junior Compliance Aide will provide essential support to our environmental compliance specialists, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the collection, organization, and analysis of environmental data for reporting purposes.
- Support the preparation and submission of routine environmental reports to regulatory agencies (e.g., EPA, TCEQ).
- Conduct research on environmental regulations and industry best practices to ensure up-to-date knowledge.
- Participate in internal environmental audits and site inspections, documenting findings and tracking corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records and databases of environmental permits, licenses, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement environmental programs and initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to the environmental compliance team as needed.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of environmental principles and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Prior internship or volunteer experience in environmental compliance or a related area.
- Familiarity with specific environmental regulations (e.g., Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA).
- Experience with environmental management systems (EMS).
