Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Software Engineer with a passion for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to join our dynamic team in Sugar Land, TX. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models and algorithms.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python and other relevant languages.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists to understand project requirements and technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software.
- Contribute to the optimization and maintenance of existing AI/ML systems.
- Research and evaluate new AI/ML technologies and tools to improve our solutions.
- Document technical designs, processes, and model performance metrics.
- Support the integration of AI/ML components into larger software systems.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development in AI/ML and software engineering practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Foundational understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms (e.g., supervised, unsupervised learning).
- Experience with at least one major ML framework (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Basic understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
- Knowledge of MLOps principles and tools.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal AI/ML projects.
- Prior internship experience in software development or data science.
