Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Email & Spam Categorizer to join our Data Flow Management team in Edmonton. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity and quality of our data by accurately classifying emails as legitimate or spam. Your work will directly contribute to improving our spam detection algorithms, ensuring a cleaner and safer online experience for users worldwide. This position requires keen attention to detail, a strong understanding of data patterns, and a commitment to data privacy and security guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately categorize a high volume of email samples as legitimate, spam, or other relevant classifications based on predefined guidelines.
  • Identify emerging spam trends, patterns, and tactics to inform algorithm improvements.
  • Provide constructive feedback and insights to engineering and data science teams to refine spam detection models.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality and consistency in all categorization tasks.
  • Adhere strictly to data privacy, security, and confidentiality protocols.
  • Participate in training and calibration sessions to ensure consistent application of categorization rules.
