Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Kids Play-set Assembly Helper with a specific focus on outdoor installations. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient assembly of various outdoor play-sets, including swings, slides, climbing frames, and garden furniture for our customers. This is a hands-on position requiring physical fitness, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians in the assembly and installation of outdoor play-sets and garden structures according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
- Prepare work sites by ensuring cleanliness and safety before, during, and after assembly.
- Unpack, organize, and inspect components for damage or missing parts.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively for construction tasks.
- Follow precise instructions and diagrams to ensure correct assembly.
- Perform quality checks on assembled structures to ensure stability and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools (drills, wrenches, etc.).
- Physical fitness, including the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in assembly, construction, or manual labour roles.
- Familiarity with interpreting assembly instructions and diagrams.
- Knowledge of basic carpentry or DIY techniques.
- Full UK driving licence and access to reliable transport.
