Job Description
Join McKesson as a Medical Supply Packer, a crucial role in our Gaithersburg distribution center. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently packing medical supplies for shipment, ensuring products reach healthcare providers and patients safely and on time. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack medical supplies according to company standards and specific order requirements.
- Verify product counts and ensure correct items are packaged for each order.
- Inspect products for damage or defects before packing and report any discrepancies.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety protocols.
- Adhere to all quality control procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and packaging instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic computer proficiency for scanning and data entry.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 30 lbs), and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
