Job Description
As a Member Service Representative at First Interstate Bank in Casper, you will be the face of our organization, providing exceptional service to our valued customers. This role involves assisting customers with their banking needs, processing transactions, opening new accounts, and identifying opportunities to introduce them to products and services that will help them achieve their financial goals. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for helping people and a commitment to building lasting relationships within our community. This is a vital position that contributes directly to our customer satisfaction and branch success, ensuring a positive and efficient banking experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashing checks.
- Open new accounts and services, such as checking, savings, and certificates of deposit, explaining features and benefits.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, providing detailed information about bank products and services.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and refer customers to appropriate banking products and specialists (e.g., loans, investments).
- Maintain a strong knowledge of all bank products, services, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Assist with balancing cash drawers and ATMs daily.
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures, ensuring a secure and compliant banking environment.
