Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Business Analyst specializing in Strategy & Insights to join our remote team. This is a 100% remote position. In this role, you will be instrumental in leveraging Microsoft technologies to drive strategic initiatives, analyze complex business data, and provide actionable insights that inform critical decision-making for our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and design solutions primarily using Microsoft’s suite of business intelligence and analytics tools. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to strategy and insights initiatives.
- Design, develop, and implement analytical solutions using Microsoft Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and other relevant Microsoft tools.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement and strategic growth.
- Develop compelling dashboards, reports, and visualizations that clearly communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for data governance, data quality, and data security within Microsoft environments.
- Support the development of business cases, strategic roadmaps, and key performance indicators (KPIs) based on data analysis.
- Stay updated with the latest Microsoft product developments and industry trends to ensure cutting-edge solutions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on strategy and insights.
- Expertise in Microsoft Power BI for data modeling, report development, and dashboard creation.
- Solid understanding of SQL and experience with Microsoft Azure data services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or relevant Azure Data certifications.
- Experience with other Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules or platforms.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques, machine learning, or AI concepts.
- Consulting experience in a client-facing role.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
