Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Microsoft Search Quality Analyst with a strong focus on both Google and Bing search ecosystems. This is a 100% remote position where you will play a critical role in evaluating and improving the quality of search results for a leading technology client. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the relevance, accuracy, and overall user experience of web search results, providing valuable feedback that directly impacts the performance of search algorithms. You will work independently, utilizing a set of comprehensive guidelines to make objective judgments on various types of search queries and content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate search engine results for accuracy, relevance, and quality based on predefined guidelines.
  • Analyze and categorize web pages, images, and other forms of content related to search queries.
  • Provide clear, concise, and objective feedback on search results.
  • Adhere strictly to project guidelines and quality standards to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Manage workload efficiently to meet daily and weekly project quotas.
  • Participate in calibration sessions and ongoing training to maintain high evaluation standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of search algorithms by identifying emerging trends and issues.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of web search engines, search queries, and information retrieval.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (US English).
  • Proficiency in navigating and researching information on the internet.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a remote environment.

  • High level of objectivity and ability to make consistent judgments based on guidelines.

  • Familiarity with various types of web content, news, and social media.
